Generally speaking, poškození is the amount of hit points inflicted upon a target by an object or NPC. Mostly we are concerned with damage inflicted by objects wielded by the player character, but of equal consideration is the damaged received by the player character from objects wielded by opponents. This damage amount can range from 0 to the amount of život a target has remaining ve hře.

Case 1:

  • Geralt wields a steel sword which boasts +50% damage.
  • He then applies a whetstone (+10% damage) to it.
  • The amount of damage he will do then is:
(base damage) * 1.5 (Weapon damage bonus) * 1.1 (whetstone) = (base damage) * 1.65

Case 2:

  • Geralt wields a steel sword which boasts +50% damage.
  • He then applies olej proti nekrofágům (+100% damage vs mrchožrouti) to it.
  • The amount of damage he will do against mrchožrouti then is:
(base damage) * 1.5 (Weapon damage bonus) * 2 (olej proti nekrofágům) = (base damage) * 3
