Horní Posada is vesnice in Dol Blathanna where we first find Marigold and Geralt at the beginning of the short story "Konec světa". It's inhabitants are simple folk, if their alderman is any example. Not far away is Dolní Posada where people seem to take a more "hands-on" approach to their pest control.

When it isn't being terrorized by "Nan the Hag", the area is allegedly plagued by a variety of creatures, or werethings as the locals call them, including:

Banes
Elfové
Flying drakes
Giant pikes
Hobolds
Imps
Mamunes
Misguids
Myriapodans

... and bats
